Health Insurance:

The Stein Collection offers a comprehensive health plan for eligible team members and their dependents. Insurance coverage includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, and mental health. Team Members classified as regular full-time employees are eligible for this company-sponsored insurance on the first day of the month following the first 60 days of employment. Eligible Team Members may also enroll during open enrollment, which typically occurs during the month prior to the policy’s anniversary date. Here are some of the plans that we have:

  • Medical Plan offered through Regence BlueCross Blue Shield of Utah for employee and family including adult dependent children between the ages of 19 and 25. We offer 2 High Deductible Medical Plans (FocalPoint or ValueCare) that you can pair with a Health Savings Account, and 2 Traditional PPO Medical Plans (FocalPoint or ValueCare).
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) – Medical FSA and Dependent Care FSA – Eligible the first of the month following four months of employment.
  • Dental Plan offered through Regence BlueCross Blue Shield of Utah for employee and family, including adult dependent children between the ages of 19 and 25.
  • Vision Plan offered through UnitedHealthcare for employee and family, including adult dependent children between the ages of 19 and 25.
  • Supplemental Benefit Plans available through Guardian.
     

401(k) Retirement Plan:

SELMC Full Time Year-round Team Members have the opportunity to enroll in a 401(k) retirement plan on the first of the month following 6 months of employment. Our Part Time Year Round team members are also eligible, if they work more than 1000 hours in a calendar year.

Along with your contribution to your 401(k), The Stein Collection also makes a company sponsored match on each paycheck.

Once eligible you will be automatically enrolled in 5% which can be opted out or changed at the time of enrollment, or any other time during the year.
 

Life Insurance:
Basic Life Insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment (Employer Paid)

(Eligible first of the month following four months of employment) This benefit is fully paid for by the Stein Collection and it is offered to full time year-round hourly team members, supervisors, managers, etc. Voluntary supplemental life insurance is also avaialble. 
 

Ski/ Snowboard Pass:

The HR office will distribute information regarding the details of this benefit each season. As we rely on local ski resorts for these passes and discounts, they are subject to change without notice.


PTO & Holidays:

Full time year-round hourly team members will start to accrue PTO time on day one on a percentage of the number of hours worked. They are able to start using their PTO after 90 days of employment. This PTO balance will cap out depending on your seniority. Managers have flexible PTO which begins after 90 days of employment.

The Stein Collection has 6 holidays.
 

Team Member Discounts:

Daily Lunch / Dinner
We offer chef prepared meals in the Kantine to all of our team members. The Kantine is open twice a day (available to our morning and evening staff), every day of the week. The hours of operation change based on the summer / winter season.

Gym Discounts
Stein Eriksen Lodge is a registered company with PC Marc, offering a 20% Discount for all team members.

Spa
All Team Members are eligible to receive a 50% discount on spa treatments for themselves and one guest, subject to availability and reservations. All Team Members also receive a discount on Spa products.

Restaurants
Discounts are available to all Team Members at all of our Stein Collection dining outlets. Our team members have unlimited 20% discount for Team Member and one guest and 50% discount available once-per-year.

Lodging Team Members rates
Team Members have the opportunity to be part of our ‘Experience the Experience’ program and have a complimentary stay at either Stein Eriksen Lodge or the Chateaux, based on availability. We also offer our team members, their family and friends, discounted rates for staying at one of our properties.

Hotel Employee Rate (with Hotelier)
The Chateaux at Deer Valley is one of the partners of the Hotelier Program, and all our team members can find discounts at hotels all over the world.
 

Stein Bucks & Company Store:

The Stein Buck Program is a way to recognize and reward Team Members for going above and beyond their normal work duties.  Stein Bucks can be turned into Human Resources for a number of different things including items from our company store or different certificates (brunch or dinner certificates, spa certificates, etc.)

The Stein Collection Company Store located in Human Resources features exclusive logo clothing and gear only available to Team Members.
