The wine collection at Stein Eriksen Lodge tops over 18,000 bottles and more than 1,500 selections, totaling well over $1.5 million in value -- one of the largest in the state. Held at a constant temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 percent humidity, the cellar features floor-to-ceiling redwood racks and a separate tasting room. Private wine seminars and tastings may be scheduled for up to 6 guests and are led by one of our certified sommeliers.
Come tour our onsite cellar and get a behind-the-scenes experience while you sample some of the finest wines in the world. We offer two private tasting options.
- Blind Tasting: Up to 6 total guests can enjoy a blind tasting of six wines, usually two white wines and four red wines, along with a select variety of plated meats and cheeses served alongside the tasting.
- Guest Wine Selection: For those wishing to select the wines for the tasting, this option allows up to 6 total guests to enjoy wines of their choice from our wine list paired with a meat and cheese plate. Guests pay a sommelier fee in addition to the cost of the bottles at menu prices, and the cost of the meat and cheese plate.
The Wine Cellar tasting experiences are available with an advance reservation during select times of 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm. Please plan for an hour to do the full Wine Cellar tasting experience.
