1. What can guests expect when parking at Stein Eriksen Lodge?
Upon arrival, guests can expect to receive a valet-only service. One of our experienced bellman will be there to greet and serve you as you begin your stay at the Lodge.
2. Does Stein Eriksen Lodge have a breakfast buffet?
Yes, Glitretind Restaurant and Troll Hallen Lounge both provide a morning breakfast buffet during the winter months. A world-renowned Sunday Brunch is offered weekly as well. Seasonal, a la carte breakfast menu options are available year-round. See restaurant hours here.
3. How far away is Main Street from Stein Eriksen Lodge?
Park City’s Historic Main Street is a short five-minute ride from Stein Eriksen Lodge. For overnight lodging guests, The Lodge provides a complimentary shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day of the week. Outside of those shuttle operational hours, guests can easily get a taxi, bus, Uber, or Lyft ride to and from the property.
4. How far is the Deer Valley Ski School?
Deer Valley Ski School is located at Snow Park Lodge, which is just a 10-minute ride in our complimentary shuttle. Or, guests can ski down to Snow Park Lodge via the convenient ski-in/ski-out access at Stein Eriksen Lodge.
5. How far away is Stein Eriksen Lodge from Salt Lake City International Airport?
Salt Lake City International Airport is an easy 40-minute ride from Stein Eriksen Lodge. Guests can arrange a variety of transportation options to and from the airport with our Concierge team, including options like a private car, shared van service, taxi, Lyft, or Uber.
6. What is the deposit/cancelation policy?
Winter Season: At time of booking, guests are required to pay a one-night’s room and tax deposit. The remaining balance is charged 30 days prior to the guest’s arrival. Cancellations within 30 days of the guest’s arrival will forfeit the entire stay. Cancellations before this 30-day window are fully refundable.
Spring/Summer/Fall Seasons: At time of booking, guests are required to pay a one-night’s room and tax deposit. Cancellations within seven days of the guest’s arrival will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations before this seven-day window are fully refundable.
7. Can you use The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge without an appointment?
Yes, guests have access to Utah’s only Forbes Five-Star spa even if they do not have a scheduled treatment or service. This access is granted only to those who are overnight lodging guests at Stein Eriksen Lodge. Children ages 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 12 are welcome to the pool area only. For a list of spa amenities, click here.
8. How much does Stein Eriksen Lodge charge for a rollaway bed?
Stein Eriksen Lodge charges $50 + tax for guests to use a rollaway bed. Rollaway beds can be requested at time of booking, or any time prior to and upon arrival to the property. Advance notice is preferred.
9. When is opening day for Deer Valley Resort?
Deer Valley Resort reopens for the summer season on 6/14/19 through 9/2/19 (and remaining open on weekends only through 9/22/19). Winter season begins 12/7/19 through 4/12/20.
10. What activities are there outside of skiing?
Stein Eriksen Lodge, the Deer Valley area, and Park City offer a myriad of activities outside of skiing during every season. For the winter months, guests can participate in such activities as ice skating, snowmobiling, dog sledding, sleigh rides, and snowshoeing. For additional activities, click here.
During the warmer spring, summer, and fall months, guests have the options to go hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fly fishing, play golf, ride in a hot air balloon, visit Utah’s Olympic Park, and much more.
11. Is there a dress code at Glitretind Restaurant or Troll Hallen Lounge?
The dress code for both the lounge and our highly-acclaimed restaurant is mountain casual. This allows our guests to come in for drinks or to dine straight from the mountain any time of the year, whether that be boots and ski jackets in the winter, or shorts and sundresses in the summer. Presentable dinner attire is encouraged for Glitretind Restaurant, but not required.
