Wine Tasting and Seminars

Take advantage of one of the most varied wine collections in the state of Utah with a private wine seminar and tasting. Held in our on-site wine cellar, each seminar is led by one of our certified sommeliers and is accompanied by cheese course or canapés. Seminars for up to eight guests may be scheduled through the Concierge desk.

Open for dinner daily and brunch every Sunday, a warm, luxurious environment is framed by stunning surrounding views of Deer Valley Resort. Executive Chef, Zane Holmquist, focuses on seasonal menus and fresh, local, sustainable ingredients for his award-winning dishes and our knowledgeable sommelier is charged with selecting, purchasing, and pairing the wine for seasonal menus.

  • For après or a light lunch, Troll Hallen Lounge in Park City offers an inviting atmosphere. Enjoy seasonal spirits by the fire while soaking in breathtaking views of the surrounding world-renowned Deer Valley Resort. 

    Don't be fooled by the easygoing comfort of the dining area—the menu is nothing short of sensational. Guilty pleasures include garlic cheese fries with Asiago cheese and the signature “Stein’s Burger,” eight ounces of Angus beef topped with melted white cheddar and crispy onions.

  • The wine collection as Stein Eriksen Lodge tops 10,000 bottles and over $1 million dollars in value, one of the largest and most varied collections in the state of Utah. The Director of Wine and Spirits maintains the collection and assists guests in pairing the perfect wine with their cuisine. Maintained at a temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 percent humidity, the cellar features floor-to-ceiling redwood bins and a tasting area. Private wine seminars and tastings for up to eight guests may be scheduled through the Concierge desk or by calling (435) 645-6460.
