Event: Lib Tech Holy Bowly

Where: Park City Mountain Resort
When: April 15, 2014 – April 20, 2014

The Lib Tech Holy Bowly, an international snowboard gathering of creativity and flow, comes to the US for the first time when Park City Mountain Resort hosts it April 15-20.  Previously held exclusively in Japan, the exhibition features many of the world’s best riders hitting a hand-shaped course inspired by skate bowls and surf.  Read more


Event: Roger Payne

Where: Eccles Center for the Performing Arts
When: April 18, 2014
Times: 7:30pm-9:30pm         

Roger Payne is best known for his discovery (with Scot McVay) that humpback whales sing songs and for his calculation showing that the sounds of fin and blue whales can be heard across oceans.  Read more


Event: Peter Yarrow

Where: Egyptian Theatre
When: April 18, 2014 – April 19, 2014
Times: 8:00pm           

As a successful artist and activist, Peter Yarrow’s talent is legendary.  His gift for songwriting has produced some of the most moving songs Peter, Paul & Mary recorded, including “Puff, The Magic Dragon” and “Leaving on A Jet Plane.”  Yarrow encourages his audiences to sing along, acknowledging that music brings people together. Event: Park City Film Series- Tim’s Vermeer

Where: Jim Santy Auditorium
When: April 18, 2014 – April 20, 2014
Times: Friday & Saturday 8:00pm; Sunday 6:00pm

Tim Jenison, a Texas based inventor, attempts to solve one of the greatest mysteries in all art: How did 17th century Dutch master Johannes Vermeer manage to paint so realistically 150 years before the invention of photography?  The epic research project Jenison embarks on to test his theory takes him to Holland and beyond.  Read more


Event: Stein Eriksen Lodge Easter Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt

Where: Stein Eriksen Lodge

Times: Brunch 11:00am-6:30pm; Egg Hunt 2:00pm

The yearly tradition continues with the famous Easter Brunch at Steins.  Pricing for adults is $45 and kids (5-12yrs) are $25.  Along with the delicious buffet spread, kids are invited to join into the Easter Egg Hunt starting at 2:00pm with fun prizes for everyone.  Reservations are quickly filling up, so call the hostess at (435) 645-6455 to make lasting Easter memories.   Read more


Event: Closing Day & Easter Celebration at Park City Mountain Resort

Event: Gallery Stroll

On the last Friday of each month, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., members of the Park City Gallery Association offer a unique showcase highlighting artists, special exhibits and art events.  The Gallery Stroll is a free community event that gives locals and Park City visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while exploring Park City’s exciting art scene.  Read more

Brewer & Shipley are an American folk rock duo who enjoyed their peak success in the late 1960s through the 1970s.  They were known for their intricate guitar work, vocal harmonies and socially conscious lyrics. Read more
